How to setup netBEUI protocol in Windows XP

Window XP stops supporting netBEUI all together. To connecting to your existing W98 PCs, you have 2 choices:
1. Upgrade all PCs to TCP/IP.
2. Add netBEUI back to XP.

This demo shows how to add the netBEUI protocol back to XP.
1. Insert your XP CDROM to the cd-rom drive.
2. copy Nbf.sys to c:\windows\system32\drivers folder - Nbf.sys is located under the valueadd\msft\net\netBEUI folder
3. copy Nethbf.inf to c:\windows\system32 folder - Nethbf.inf is located in the same folder as Nbf.sys on the CDROM.

After copying these 2 files, please follow the follwoing steps to add the netBEUI protocol to XP
